There’s days where the storm is just raging. Things won’t let up, bad things keep happening, anxiety is at an all time high. You’re itching to get out of your skin, the pit in your stomach is just massive and makes you feel like the worst things are going to happen.

It’s days or weeks that can feel like this and you just don’t know what to do. The weight of the world is on your shoulders with no relief.

You pray, you go to therapy, you talk about it, you hold it in, you do your deep breathing and nothing helps….. Until one day, you can breathe. Your stomach stops feeling like it’s eating itself.

You get excited for your future again. The sun feels brighter, the night seems more peaceful. You can function instead of survive. The bad days don’t seem so bad from this side.

There’s a million things I could say: Keep going, keep pushing through, keep praying. But sometimes even that feels like too much. Sometimes it’s all too heavy, and you can’t pray. You can’t cry out. God still listens to your heart. You’re not alone.

So here’s my encouragement: enjoy the good days, really live them up. And remember that the bad days only last for a little while. You’re strong enough to get through the bad days and most deserving of enjoying the good days.

All my love.
